Hey, I’m Denise Rising, owner of Uprising Fitness Co.

When I’m not in the gym, you’ll usually find me lifting, hiking, or mountain biking basically anything that gets me outside with my husband and our dogs. Movement has always been a big part of my life, but I believe it should add to your life, not take it over.

That belief shapes how I coach, online and in person.

My training style is rooted in sustainability, realism, and meeting you where you are. I don’t expect perfection, and I don’t believe in extremes. Instead, we focus on steady progress, building strength, improving movement, and creating habits that actually stick. Whether your goal is fat loss, muscle gain, moving better, or simply feeling more confident in your body, we work toward it with a balance of science, support, and a little bit of humor.

I’ve been coaching since 2023, working with clients of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Oregon State University–Cascades and certifications in Nutrition Coaching, Corrective Exercise, and the Barbell Rehab Method. This background allows me to design thoughtful, individualized programs that are safe, effective, and adaptable. No matter where you’re training.
